To facilitate the completion of a recognised qualification, enabling delegates to

use IV processes well, in line with regulatory requirements

Anyone who has been internally verifying for at least 1 year to a standard

approved by an external verifier

Duration

Pre course preparation – see below.

One day course plus self directed study for the completion of a portfolio, completed within 6 months of attending the course.

Cost

£75 per delegate.

All late submission of portfolios will be charged at £25 every 3 months.

Any delegate not submitting a portfolio after a period of 3 years will be requested to follow the course again.

This course is available on request at £75 per delegate, with a minimum charge of £375, the equivalent of 5 delegates, up to a maximum of 12 delegates per session.

Essential pre-course

preparation

Prior to starting the course delegates will need to access the Agored Cymru

website www.agored.org.ukin order to make reference to:

• the verifiers role in assessment
• internal verification
• the IV template (this needs to be brought to the course)
• standardisation
• staff induction and training procedures

In addition delegates will need to bring:

• a copy of their organisation’s credit based learning induction pack

            for tutors

• a copy of their organisation’s current internal quality assurance cycle
