Introduction to Internal Verification

Aim	To determine how to standardise assessment, in line with regulatory requirements, by implementing good practice in internal verifying. Before attending Introduction to Internal Verification delegates must either: have experience of assessment in credit based learning or have attended the Introduction to assessment course
Target Group	Staff who have no experience of internal verification.
Learning objectives	To understand the principles of standardising assessment in line with regulatory requirements.
Duration	3 hours
Cost	This course is free to all Agored Cymru recognised centres and members (as part of the scheduled programme). Recognised centres are able to request any of the scheduled courses to be held in their own premises. A cost of £400 for a full day and £275 for a half day is charged for this service. This charge covers the tutor’s time, travelling costs and the supply of all course handouts.
