Introduction to the Unit Review and Writing Assessment
Before you start the on-line tests, make sure that you are quite happy with what you learnt from the training pack. You may wish to have guidance documents open while you do the tests.
There are four parts to this process:
- There is a practice unit on which you can try out the on-line test package
- You then start the test itself, by completing the assessment on one unit;
- You then repeat this process for a second unit;
- Finally, there is a separate test for Entry level units.
You don’t need to do everything in one go: if at any time you want to pause, you can save your work to that point and return later.
At the end of each part you will be given a score. You need to get 70% or more in each part (in 2-4 above) to pass the whole assessment.
Once you click on the final ‘Save and Submit’ button at the end of each part of the assessment, you will not be able to change your answers.
If at the end of any test you have not achieved 70%, you will be instructed to return to the training pack and try again at a later date.
When you have passed the on-line assessment, you will need to contact Rachel Mooney at Agored Cymru to request a unit to do a live review. Once you have completed that, you will get your certificate!
Good luck!
