Landbased
Agored Cymru is pleased to work closely with Lantra (the Sector Skills Council for Landbased industries) to ensure that provision meets learner and employer needs in Wales. Units are available at Entry level to Level 3 in the following subsectors:
- Agriculture
- Floristry
- Horticulture
- Environmental Conservation
- Small Animal Care
Landbased units are currently being reviewed as part of the Unit Library Review.
Agored Cymru works in partnership with NOCN to offer the following qualifications in Wales:
- NOCN Level 2 Award in Computer Aided Drawing for Garden Design
- NOCN Level 2 Award in Drawing and Graphics for Garden Design
- NOCN Level 2 Award in Garden Design
- NOCN Level 2 Certificate in Garden Design
- NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Garden and Planting Design
- NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Garden and Planting Design
NOCN Progression qualifications include units in land-based and related subject areas. These qualifications allow the development of learner skills in preparation for progression to vocationally related qualifications in land-based subjects. All units within the qualifications are mapped to National Occupational Standards and are signposted to key skills and wider key skills.
